Fruits Basket was a fab anime from beginning to end. It is a sweetly mysterious drama-comedy with a surprisingly dark ending.
The plot revolves around Tohru Honda, a 16 year old high school girl, who ends up living (as a sort of housekeeper) with the Sohma family. The 26 episode (4 disk) series reveals the many secrets of the Sohma's through Tohru's eyes.
Extremely well done (especially the last two episodes) with some great voices done by the Funimation crew.
More unexpected in the Zodiac house. This is light and humorous, with good characters and one of of my favorite anime series of the year.
