Fugitive - David Janssen
By a customer from London , 06 Nov 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
Brilliant series - I remember watching it as a young child and thinking then how good it was, and it seemed to go on forever then. Worth watching again. In some respects it seems dated (guess that's what comes of being in black and white!) but in other ways it's still very fresh. Classic TV, the likes of which we'll (probably) not see again in our lifetime.- Was this review helpful to you?

Unlucky Chap

You have to feel sorry for The Fugitive. Wrongly accused and then every small town he goes to is full of half witted, petty, nasty pieces if work all out for themselves. Except for one woman or girl who ends up saving him or just believing in him.
But as a series it works and stands up very well with todays series output. Exciting and only a little over the top. Worth a watch or a reminder of past joys.

black 'n white tv gold
By tweeza (15 reviews) from Wallsend , 25 Feb 2009the fugitive, was the Dallas of it's day, with everyone tuning in every wednesday at 8,00, to watch a man on a tightrope, underdog Dr Rchard Kimble, just a half a step away from the death row for a crime he did not commit.it was a prime time tv show of the sixties that spawned 130 cat and mouse episodes, as Kimble seeks out a one armed man who killled his missus, while keeping one eye on the eight ball that was LT Philip ,Gerrad,a cop hell bent on Kimble's capture, shot mostly in black and white, many of which, still hold up in today's cynical world, where nice guy's finished last. Actor david jansen was the nicest fella on television, and by time the shows climax has reached it's boiling point, kimble storms homewards the finish line to prove them all wrong- Was this review helpful to you?
