Informative, impartial, yet funny

From the moment the series starts in Diomede, looking out across the Baring Straight waters to Russia, from America, you know it's going to be interesting series, well presented , informative, funny yet impartial. Quick witted - Palin has the ability to guide you from place to place, Country to Country having your total concentration, contrasting 5 star luxury, with the most basic forms of living, he seems relaxed whatever his enviroment, and whatever their nationality. Palin does it again

Very interesting
By a customer from glasgow , 17 Oct 2006We hadn't seen this series and found it really interesting. Even our nine year old liked it, although there were a couple of bits we couldn't let them watch.
I would rent some more of this series. If you like learning about other countries and cultures you will like this. Very similar , I thought, to Alan Whicker.- Was this review helpful to you?
