    [Highly rated reviewer]

One of those Sunday afternoon films that we use to get on the TV years ago, Plenty to entertain, although the effects are of their time, so more discerning games console players will notice the difference! But to be recommended as a good ripping yarn.

It's hard to go wrong with Peter Cushing, who never turns in a bad performance. This is a really riveting adventure, directed by John Gilling, the genius behind later Hammer classics such as The Reptile and The Plague of the Zombies. This isn't horror, but there is plenty of drama, intrigue and action at a pretty zippy pace. Loved it.

A typical story of smugglers but with a few unexpected twists and a very good cast. the end result is well worth watching.
