Very goodBy TheGuv (19 reviews) from High Wycombe , 12 Mar 2013
[Highly rated reviewer]I've not seen the original which is probably why i enjoyed this instead of making comparrisions and not giving this a chance. The humor is simple n funny, very clevery intelligent comedy with a great cast and rickman is never poor in anything and makes the film as a bully boss

Lacking .....By a customer , 07 Dec 2013I was excited about the cast, Firth, Rickman and Diaz, but it just didn't get there, disappointing, it could have had a better script. Just lacking.
Bit of a let downBy johnnyb78 (92 reviews) from Swindon , 27 Sep 2013The film was entertaining, but lacked some spark. Had high hopes given the cast... But didn't quite get there. Glad I didn't make the effort to see it in the cinema or buy it though
Slick Fun but a little contrivedBy Vdubbman (72 reviews) , 18 Sep 2013I'm a big fan of the Coen Brothers and this film doesn't fail to offer good laughs. My only reservation is that some of the scenes are a little too contrived. Colin Firth as the straight guy works very well, Cameron Diaz, I'm afraid to say, could easily have been any one of a number of good looking actresses. She failed to distinguish herself for me. Slick Fun
Good ending, shame about the other 81 minutesBy FuriousGeorge (2 reviews) , 13 Sep 2013Oh my God this was painful. Slow, weak, unfunny. The ending was alright- but that could have been the massive relief that the pain was finally over.
Worth a watchBy a customer , 09 Sep 2013Entertaining & easy to watch movie. Rickman, Firth & Diaz make a good trio. A few laugh out loud moments.
