Garfield, the world's favorite cat, has begun his very own British Invasion, wreaking havoc on the entire Kingdom. He's traveled across the pond (with canine sidekick Odie) to surprise his master, Jon Arbuckle, who is in London to propose to his girlfriend, veterinarian Liz Wilson. Garfield came...he saw... he conquered: Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Scotland Yard and his new favorite dish: minced pie (okay, it's not lasagna, but you can't have everything). As befitting as adventure worthy of a feline phenomenon, Garfield has switched places with Prince, a royal cat who has just inherited a castle. Now the castle is Garfield's--and who's more deserving? In the grand estate Garfield now calls home, he's receiving the royal treatment, including a butler and an international array of four-legged servants and followers. It's a life fit for a king--even though Garfield is only a prince; in fact, he's the real Prince and the Paw-purr. Uneasy is the head, however, that wears the crown. Lord Dargis, who is next in line to inherit the estate, wants Prince/Garfield out of the picture. And Garfield finds his bigger, better, more purr-fect world turned upside down in this tale of two kitties.

Garfield is a brilliant bundle of fur, fun and outrageous antics
Absolutely brilliant... hilarious family fun
Why oh why oh why did I rent this when the first was so bad ? Answer. For the kids.
A plot with zero imagination or originality that lurched painfully to its inevitable conclusion; a staggeringly clunky script; a collection of quite frighteningly unendearing and irritating animal 'characters'; and the usual tiresome 'Americans in London' stuff. An undistinguished display of acting all round, with even Billy Connolly looking like he was sleepwalking through his stereotyped scheming villain role.
Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties is strictly for those who were fans of the first movie, die-hard fans of Garfield, or those two young to form completely coherent sentences.
Garfield 2 is a great sequel for the whole family. Garfield's owner is going to propose an engagement to his girlfriend, but she has gone to London. So Garfield's owner is on the way to London, but of course, YOU CAN'T TAKE GARFIELD TO LONDON! Very funny and entertaining. I think this movie is definatly better than the first Garfield Movie!!
Fans of animated television series Alvin and the Chipmunks might be interested to hear that a proposed movie version of the cartoon now has a director. Alvin, Simon, Theodore and their (clearly adoptive) human father Dave are set to hit the big screen under the guidance of Tim Hill, reports Variety. Hill may not be familiar to many film fans but they may have seen his directorial efforts such as Muppets from Space and Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties. He also wrote the hilarious cult classic The Read more
