Legal drama inspired by the life of pioneering 18th century barrister William Garrow.
In the late 18th century, a young, idealistic barrister, William Garrow, is given his first criminal defence case at the Old Bailey, by attorney and mentor John Southouse. He defends Peter Pace, who is accused by renowned thief-taker Edward Forrester of robbing a man at gunpoint.
Set in the Old Bailey of Georgian London and based on genuine legal cases from the 18th century, Garrow's Law shows how Garrow championed the underdog and paved the way for our modern legal system.

Andrew Buchan was very good in The fixer but in this his acting ability steps up again. The story line is about an early 18th century barrister who was literally at the forefront of changing the legal system away from how the titled rich could buy their way out of trouble. Imagine Robin Hood in a wig in helping the poor and downtrodden. Great stories and very authentic sets. Excellent acting and cast. An absorbing series. Not one too miss.
