An intelligent, sexy and funny as hell love story
By Armandd'Hubert from London, England , 16 Jul 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
A beautiful Gene Tierney as a young widow looking for her independece, teams up with Rex Harrison, playing the ghost of an old school, straigh sea captain and the suave casanova and always amazing George Sanders in one the most amazing and sexy love stories ever. Talks about so many important things and is such a pleasure to watch that it will be a mistake to miss it.- Was this review helpful to you?

A black and white treasure
By Louloubelle06 (1 review) , 09 May 2011A truly beautiful and classic film, while watching you can fall for a sexy Rex Harrison but also want him to win Gene Tierney's heart. As a lover of old classic films since i was a child, after watching this when i was 12 years old, this black and white treasure is my all time favorite film.- Was this review helpful to you?

The Ghost and Mrs Muir
By Filamina (25 reviews) from Great Yarmouth , 25 Aug 2010Black and white films seem more restful to the eye, and this gentle, well thought out story was enjoyable, with a romantic ending. The lack of surround sound or digital enhancement or even glorious technicolour meant that it also needed old fashioned concentration. Ahhhhh! Excellent!- Was this review helpful to you?
