This documentary is comprised from German newsreels, still photos, etc. Starting from the end of the First World War, through the rise of Hitler and the Nazi's to the Second World War.
The Narration of this documentary can be fast paced at times and jumps from one event to another with very little explanations.
It gives a good view though of how the German civilians were shown the war at the time, through the use of Government Newsreels etc.
I would not recommend this documentary if you are just getting started in the history of this era, I would say it is more directed at the ones whom already have some of the knowledge of the events that took place.
Personally even though good, i would still have to recommend The World At War (1973)
