Nothing happens?

I'm not a fan of overly 'arty' films in which nothing happens - some might say that this film fits into that category, but I was completely, utterly captivated by it. Gorgeous cinematography, and somehow Van Sant creates a tension that stays throughout the film, and makes it gripping watching. Beautiful film - I rarely rate things at 5* but in my opinion this one deserves it.
