How Gerry was for me...

I've never written a review before, but i read so much viscious crap on the imdb comments page about 'Gerry', with a recurrent common thread being 'worst movie ever' that i feel impelled to. That's a shame, i thought this film was amazing. Its a really weird trip that takes you to really strange places. What i admire most about it is how much is actually given to the audience, through the minimalism, i.e the hypnotic long takes must give birth to really different thoughts in each viewers head. The film is actually incredibly freaky, the further they walk the more unsettling things start to happen. Anyway, if you dont need your films to be BAM BAM BAM and arent hurtling through your life at ludicrous speeds with the rest of our BAM BAM BAM society, then sit down, watch Gerry and see what happens to your mind.....
