Great music....
and the staging is pretty damn fine a well, with good acting and singing performances all round.

Fabulous
I saw this production live around 20 years ago. It was performed by the same singers and the Glyndebourne chorus conducted by Simon Rattle. Some of the other comments and reviews really puzzle me - whilst there may be technical syncing problems with the video - I can promise you that the 'actors' are actually world class opera singers - and really do sing!
