Intense end to a great series

The laughing man saga comes to a conclusion with Section 9 seemingly on the wrong end of a government military strike. I won't give any of the final plot away but prepare for an adrenaline rush of a conclusion followed by a very philosophical reflection by the young laughing man. This series has been outstanding in its style, intelligence and action. Only Ghost in the Shell could make you lose track with their ghost talk in just under 20 minutes, pay attention. Roll on 2nd Gig.

Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex Volume Seven ends the series with an action-packed showdown between Section 9 and the high ranking government officials who want to keep their role in the Laughing Man case secret.

The team present their evidence to the Prime Minister, but it's too late. Section 9 are disbanded, and the military are sent in to apprehend the Major and company by any means necessary.

These three episodes finally realise the full potential of such a promising franchise. Watch the other volumes first, but don't give up before the end, or you'll be missing out on some truly great stuff.

Awesome anime.

Gripping end to a superb series. Takes a while to get there, but well worth the effort. Plenty to keep us occupied during the journey, explosive action, complex plots, and the ice cool Major K.

Partly my fault as I had hoped for more than 3 short random episodes, but the series is too long and I was bored and unimpressed.
