Absolute rubbish !!!

Before you watch Girlfriend, it is important to be clear why you are going. If it is to watch a sensitive, mature film on lesbianism, stay at home. If it is to watch a flesh fest featuring Isha Koppikar and Amrita Arora, what can we say? There's plenty to ogle at. Well ... if you can stand the horrendeous script and direction.
The acting is mediocre and stereotypical ? Isha at her villainous best, Amrita at her brainless best, Aashish at his harried best. There is no scene or dialogue worth remembering.
Sample the lines: Amrita to Aashish: 'Jab main soti hoon, main behosh hoon. [When I am asleep I am unconscious].' Well, really?!- Was this review helpful to you?

very dis-jointed

This is one of the most dis-jointed films I have ever seen and not particularly good. Ok if you just want to see good looking girls strutting their stuff- Was this review helpful to you?

not a bad movie
By neelxxshb (285 reviews) from london , 23 Jan 2008most of the ppl who wrote bad reviews about this movie cant accept the fact that bollywood can touch a subject like this... but yeh they are right in a way.... coz where is 'girlfriend' and where is 'fire' two different movies with the same aspects but both on different levels... if u want intense storyline then u go for 'fire' but if u want some light hearted 'i been abused in the past hence i am a lesbian' movie then go for this.... its not bad to watch but if u miss it then u are not missing much- Was this review helpful to you?

The 3 main actors should all get a wooden spoon for pretending to be able to act, as with the director, and whoever did the sound track
If u like glam, superficial, materialistic dross, almost no plot line, nil character development, and have the IQ of a gnat then this could be for you. Being a tad homophobic probably wouldn't go amiss either
If this is 'B'ollywood then i think I'll stick to the 'H' variety from now on
