Glam Rock's emergence into popular music couldn't have come at a better time. By the end of the late 60's and into the early 70's rock had reached its evolutionary peak. What glam rock gave us was a back to basics, get dressed up, be freaky, cos' Mama We Were All Crazee Then!

I love my music dvd's,most of them are either excellent or ok,This title takes the p?%!. How many of us who can remember the glam rock era would class Hot Chocolate or Gilbert 0'Sullivan as being Glam rock.Certainly not me.The quality of both sound and picture gives the impression that a dosser found an old vhs tape whilst scrounging through the local council dump, and decided to copy it on to dvd to make a quick buck.I bet none of the artists on there would put their good reputations on the line for this barnacle of a wash out.
There is good stuff out there so why put this rubbish out.Burn it and send the video production team that put it together back to school.
Totally appauling.
This DVD is a waste of everyone's time. The quality of the recordings is so poor it looks like a bad 70s porn movie. The only 'glam' bands on it are Slade, T.Rex (easily the best two quality recordings), and Sweet, whose songs on this were obviously recorded in the days before they got around to being 'glam' and started playing their own instruments. Slade's songs on the DVD are OK, both were hits and they are looking the part. Gilbert O'Sullivan and Hot Chocolate don't, and never did, and probably never would claim to have been part of the 'glam' movement. Total running time is paltry. Leave this well alone.
