A truly engaging film about the life of Philip Glass. Done in a clever way, you don't feel like you're imposing with this documentary.

In twelve chapters, Scott Hicks works through Glass's life as he prepares for the Barbarian opera to go live. It is heartwarming to see him make veggie pizzas for his young family, yet also breathtaking to see him perform on the piano.

True to his music, Glass comes across as infinite, as someone who will always be composing; always distracted yet extremely coherent.
