Good stuff!
By doris from Derbyshire , 29 Dec 2003[Highly rated reviewer]
If your an 80's kid who never quite grew up - a fan of converse boots, skating and all John Hughes movies then you should enjoy this film!
It's important to remember that this flm was made in the 80's, before high tech special effects ruled the world! Christian Slater plays a skating dude who sets out with his chums to bring down the bad guys! The story is weak in places and most of the actors in the movie never quite 'hit the big time' but it's a fun, easy going film that will make you wish you still had a skateboard in the garage!
Enjoy it, love it and remember the good old days - when it was safe to play in the streets!!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Classic Cheese
By a customer from Maidenhead, England , 25 Apr 2006It's four stars, simply because it is as corny as I remember from childhood. There were films like The Goonies which was a great film, but was never going to win acting awards. Then there was films like Gleaming The Cube, a much lower budget Hollywood feel good, where the kids go on to save the day and capture the bad guy, this time on skateboards. Mindless enjoyable fun!- Was this review helpful to you?
