Its all so cheap...
By california6066 (47 reviews) from Stoke , 26 Jan 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
The thing i dont like about this series is the fact its cheap, slapdash and with poor acting. This program trys to attempt funiness with realism which does not work in any circumstance. The acting is very queer and is very cheesy making this even worse than High School Musical. If you liked HSM then you will like this, but if you dont like cheap sets and cheap acting then dont watch this because this will let you down.- Was this review helpful to you?

(19)Not amazing but worth a watch
By a customer , 21 Jul 2011Take your brain out cheese, but worth it for wasting a Sunday afternoon. I wouldn't rush to watch these but they are worth a laugh when you get them.- Was this review helpful to you?

Sing-a-long and brighten up your day!
By a customer , 09 Jun 2011Fantastic. Real feel good television. I love the character of Sue and all her sarcasm and hatred. Hilarious! This isn't high brow stuff but it never pretends to be. Sit back, relax and enjoy.- Was this review helpful to you?

Cheesy
By Lauren Edwards from Middlesex, England , 19 May 2011I do wish I'd watch Glee from when it first started, I put season 1 on my list with the intention to catch up, but after I got through the first disc I realised it would take a while (and all my rentals for a couple of months) before I'd actually be able to watch it on tele. I did enjoy it, but I dont think its as good as a lot of people make it out to be. Some of the covers I think are quite poor and the acting isnt always great. Dont think I'll bother ever trying to watch it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Glee review
By Mark Beeson from Brighton, East Sussex , 18 Nov 2010This is a TV series that is loved or hated. There is no middle ground. My partner loved it and I hated it with a passion you can only imagine. Within the first 3 episodes that I forced myself to watch, several homophobic comments were made; presumably because the producers and writers thought they were being clever. I just thought the entire dialogue was childish and just a bit laboured as if the writers were trying too hard. The singing pierces your ears, especially the lead girl, whose name thankfully escapes me. This series has been compared to the 1980s 'Fame'. That's like like saying Jordan's replica plastic wedding ring from Elizabeth Duke in Argos is a lot like the Crown Jewels!- Was this review helpful to you?
