  • One again Pacino proves his pedigree.

Probably the best cast ever assembled on the big screen. And it most certainly delivers. Al Pacino should have won the best actor Oscar for which he was nominated and was outshone only by an incredible performance from the great Jack Lemmon.

  • TOTALLY UNVIEWABLE-BORING

Nothing else but a rant between individuals which becomes long and boring in the extreme. Human nature at it's worst and not worth commenting upon,

  • Unpleasant and exhausting rant

Star studded cast, but very much a stage play style. All acted in a play style single office. I did not enjoy this. A rather pointless flog of a high pressure sales team under enormous pressure themselves. A long aggressive and highly alpha male competitive uncaring rant between the players who spend the entire film insulting and belittling each other.

  • Huge Disappointment

Gave up on watching this after persevering for more than half an hour. Found the characters too thoroughly unattractive to stick it out any longer. Maybe the stellar cast were just too good at playing such unpleasant people. Could help to explain the crash of the US property market which triggered the global economic crisis, I suppose.

That's what I call a film Jack Lemmon and Al Pacino are brilliant both should have won oscars for their performances, all actors in this film were faltless you won't see an such an assemble of actors in one film today, can't say anything about the plot with out giving it away but life is hard is the underlying theme

Based on a play I found this movie very wordy and so the first two times I watched it it sent me to sleep. HOWEVER when I stayed awake it is a really excellent film about a group of salesmen put under pressure to make more deals..... although some see it as really being about our uncaring overly competitve modern society. This contains great performances from Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Ed Harris and Kevin Spacey. Jonathan Pryce has a minor part but is good too - what an amazing cast. Good story too - get yourself a strong coffee and put this film on!
