An interesting look into the mind of a genius via a non-linear narrative featuring those who were touched by Gould in person and in spirit. You need to see it twice to make the film 'flow', but I think that the initially disjointed feel is the point of the film itself...worth seeing for Gould fans. This might be a less straightforward introduction for the uninitiated, however...
For once a merging of fact and fiction that does not subtract from, but expand on its subject because it supplements demonstration with reflection and vice versa. If you were ever tempted to think of 'interpretation' as a derivative task and Glenn Gould doesn't change your mind, you must be deaf and blind.
