Too short

Although it was a very enjoyable film, I felt it was cut back too short, possibly through over-editing. At just over 1h 20m, and with the 2nd half of the film rushing by very quickly, it definitely felt as though the plot could have done with a little bit of padding and had at least another 20 minutes in it.
Particularly liked the use of some Grand Theft Auto - Vice City music in the scene where they unload the drugs from the powerboat. Whether that was an intentional 'nod' or not, it made me smile, as the film does have a very GTA feel to it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Superb action thriller

Very good thriller

Great French thriller that packs some punches
By a customer , 28 Jun 2011Great little thriller from Olivier van Hoofstadt with good performances all round and some great driving sequences.
I'm always surprised, reading reviews of foreign films on here, how amazed people are that the subtitles either a) didn't bother them or b) did bother them and recommend you don't watch it because it's not English language. Get a grip! European cinema has been turning out far superior and much more intelligent fare than Hollywood (on a consistent basis too) for years.- Was this review helpful to you?
