Golden Axe: Beast Rider

needly made me sick, you cant stay still long enough to focus actually made me motion sick could play for about 10 mins then had to stop. rubbish fighting and plot was same old story, Did not like it one bit

Ah goldenaxe on Megadrive was amazing, a great memorable game that i will forever rate well.

So Sega a once prominant games developer and systems designer decide Sonic's blue spikes are starting to grate on the teet of Segas long term employees, so Mr Arnold of the 3rd floor cleaning staff digs out an old dusty box from behind the behing the mops and tears it open allowing a vintage copy of Golden Axe to flop on to his sweaty palms. Mr Arnold while cleaning the bins decides to suggest to Tim the 18 year old acne ridden fat work experience kid that they should secretly design the sequal it deserves, and off Arnold and Tim go to bring the fans what they want....Tits and a horse riding lesbian.

What was released is the sticky pants dream of a lonely 18 year old and a bin cleaner, god bless Sega.

euurghhh!!! I expect much better from sega animation=terrible lack of character choice= rediculous gameplay= soul destroying.

when you remake a classic game like golden axe you expect a certain amount of nostalgic fun if nothing else. this game is devoid of any enjoyment what so ever and I'm glad I only rented it. terrible game

I thought i would have a go at playing this as i really enjoyed playing golden axe down the arcades when i was young. However, i was a little dismayed at the reviews on this but thought heh, still worth a go. When I first played it I really enjoyed it but just seemed to be rubbish at it and didn't get that far so I started again from the beginning and did a lot better, you really do have to master the art of blocking and evading in this game or you toast quickly!! The beasts you ride are quite fun and its very satisfying smashing enemies with them although they do kinda handle iffy sometimes. Yes you do have to just hack and slash enemies and occassionaly use magic powers but its great fun hacking the enemies apart seeing them get diced and cut in half is excellent and the game caused me and my friend to laugh outloud at some of the protracted death screams which go on and on, but are intensly satisfying too.

If you can master the combat system you should do okay, it all revolves around that really. Worth a rent just for the beheading, cutting in twain and blood spurting! :-)

how to start ........oh yeh his game was pants , i was a big fan of the origional but this is a wais of time . O.K. its goden axe why ? its got dragons well kinda , its got the little gnome midget guys you can stab to get power ups and there is a worrior woman a dwarf and a barbarian , thats it folks thats all your gonna get . the contols are that basic you can play this game with your feet thats ifyouwanna sit for a couple of hours bashin the same button to do the same thing to get the same borein bland game for games sake result.

Try conan its along the same lines but better and more of a challenge .
