    Sell-by-date coming up

    I used to love the Golden Girls when they first appeared on our screens in the Eighties. It was funny, witty, entertaining and I even liked their clothes!!!!! Well, it's almost 20 years later - a lot can change in that time and I am actually quite sad to report that the Golden Girls just don't do it for me anymore. Although Bea Arthur is still very enjoyable to watch and although still there are some brilliant lines, I now just want to shake the 3 of them and tell them to get over themselves. As for the clothes .......

    as funny as I remember it

    Having watched The Golden Girls as a child with my Grandma I had fond memories of the series about four older ladies sharing a house in Miami.

    When I found out it was to be rereleased it was with some trepidation that I awaited its rediscovery.Could it live up to the memories I had of it? After all I was only a child when I saw it first time round.

    I found myself with a permanent grin on my face the whole way through and with many belly laughs along the way.The characters are fantastic and I found myself once again(as I did as a child)arguing with myself as to which was my favourite character.

    The simple answer is that they are all amazing!

    Do yourselves a big favour and watch this series.

    This truly is comedy at its best.
