Destined to be a classic

I spent most of my youth playing this game on the N64 and even though I don't always like remakes of old classics I have to say I really enjoyed this. The single player game is a solid shooter in every aspect, but its the multiplayer that really brings this game forward. Get your mates round like the good old days and whip out your golden gun!

Best shooter game for the WII in the world

Goldneye is an amazing shooter game. I've been a fan of the 007 games, and this is by far the best. An incredible game and a great multi-player game for friends. A thrilling story-line, a massive range of guns and characters, and most of all, fantastic action gaming. There's a surprise at every corner, whether it is an enemy or an explosion. Goldeneye will always keep you on the edge of your seat. An awesome shooter game!

Excellent game has all the missions as in the film and the multiplayer mode is very good you also get the golden gun can't wait for golden eye reloaded to come out. it would be better if the controls were not as sensitive on the Wii.

James bond has returned - and hes beefed up

Whopping good update. When i fearst heard about i was worried about a classic being soiled, the call of dutyification of a classic if you will. However this is the goldeneye you remember, just beefier, more muscular, slicker faster and more action pqcked. The game controls brilliantly with the wiimote and you simply will not believe these graphics are coming from a wii! With a resolution bump this could quite easily be a mid-level xbox 360 game. The developers have paid great homage to the original with stealth options in the gameplay and optional objectives to complete.

Had a quick go on the online multi, it seems to tick all the boxes too.

Audio deserves a special mention- great music and the gun and close combat sound effects are fantastic.
