Dublin Looks Great but I've forgotten the plot...
By Pete Shuttleworth from Hemel Hempstead , 24 May 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
If you enjoy modern living and life and need a slice of Dublin looking good and and Dublin folk being bad then this film might just do it for you. I was quite motivated to watch the film (having heard about it from other sources) but genuinely disinterested by the end of it. Sexuality and sexual behaviour is what the film tries to engage around but I found the film lacking heart and reason. Perhaps that is what modern Dublin is all about but, knowing the Irish, I doubt that very much. A Friday night film to drink a bottle of wine with rather than be bowled over by and be prepared - your partner might ask you a question or two about why you rented it afterwards! Not Bad. Not Brilliant. 3/5.- Was this review helpful to you?

(29)Light and Frothy
By OscarFreak (417 reviews) from London , 01 Dec 2011Awatchable film with no substance to it, week plot, actors not challenged in their roles, and great views of Dublin that made me think of visiting whilst watching the movie.- Was this review helpful to you?

Poor plot, but great views of Dublin and nice soundtrack
By a customer from Horley , 10 Feb 2011Disappointing, predictable and dull plotlines made me reach for the fast-forward button far too often, but there were some funny moments and the views of Dublin were great. I thought the soundtrack was pretty good, though, especialy the Lisa Hannigan songs - she really has a gorgeous voice!- Was this review helpful to you?

A Modern day La Ronde
By Teejay47 (5 reviews) from Aberdeen , 05 Oct 2010Lovers change partners as often as they change socks in modern day Dublin. The script is heavy handed and there is no characterisation to speak of but its pleasant enough, with a decent soundtrack. One to watch with the brain in neutral and a glass of wine in hand.- Was this review helpful to you?

Garbage!
By a customer from Huddersfield , 23 Jun 2009Please no more terrible gay films...make it stop! We had 'Imagine me and you' and 'The L word' so there is hope but they are far outnumbered by garbage like this. Saying this it's not the worst gay themed film I've ever seen, it did have some funny moments but really it just dragged on for 80ish minutes with its dumb storyline. It's really just not worth watching at all, spare yourself and go and watch your L word dvds or something instead.- Was this review helpful to you?
