Now if you were expecting a rip roaring ride here I would think again. This is a an intelligent thriller/drama that delivers on the premise suggested. Damon is ever reliable, Jolie a tad underused, but some stellar support lends weight.
Overall one for those that want to immerse themselves.
Great film Matts acting was on point a very good supporting cast not sure of the need for Angelina (surprisingly given a meaningless role; the role could have been played by an up & comer), but great film overall. Matt played the role excellently very similar to the talented Mister Ripley. Matt shows the soullessness needed to operate as an effective Operative, which equals a dysfunctional human being in normal society. A genuine love for his son but no real intimacy between the two his overall situation isnt helped by a loveless marriage but I really dont think he cares.
Thriller/Drama might be a bit slow for some making it seem long, but you should stick with it, the ending was a bit anticlimactic but it was a realistic ending. Paints a pretty realistic picture of what life as a Government Operative would be, totally opposite to how most Operatives are portrayed in Hollywood as larger than life Super-Hero-ish characters.

At ten he has the physique of a... Read more
