Officials chase Sorvino for movie cash

Pennsylvania officials are asking Goodfellas star Paul Sorvino to account for tax payers' cash he was given to fund a movie six years ago. The actor was given £312,500 to make The Trouble with Cali, in which he stars alongside son Michael and his Oscar-winning actress daughter Mira - and Lackawanna County officials are concerned they haven't seen a return on the investment. Film bosses have hit back at Joe Pesci after he alleged he was pushed out of the upcoming Gotti family movie, calling the actor's lawsuit a bid for attention. Pesci is suing Fiore Films producers for reportedly reneging on a deal to cast him as Angelo Ruggiero, a close friend to mob boss John Gotti, in upcoming biopic Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father. A childhood illness saved Martin Scorsese from a life of violent crime in his native New York, according to his longtime cinematographer.
