I used to love the Goodies as a kid: I used to look forward to it every week and thought it was hysterical. Plus I kind of fancied Graham Garden. After Tim BT's subtle hints on I'm Sorry I haven't A Clue that the DVD had been released I couldn't wait to re-live some of the excitement. I knew it might have dated. I was even prepared not to fancy Graham G. However, I was astonished at how utterly tedious and unfunny it was. Boring, self conscious, badly acted, terrible canned laughter tracks, and endless, endless, endless 'episodes'. I lasted about 10 minutes before returning the disk. It felt like a lifetime. What a shame.
This dvd take's me back, it was so good to see ones again. It was still as funny. My kids love it.
