Singer/actress Hilary Duff is set to join the cast of hit U.S. drama Gossip Girl - as a famous movie star. The 21 year old will feature in several upcoming episodes, opposite show regulars Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley, as a celebrity studying at New York University. Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley is hoping to follow in the Footloose footsteps of his co-star Chace Crawford - he's eyeing his own Hollywood remake with Harrison Ford's Blade Runner.
