    [Highly rated reviewer]

This movie is extremely slick and stylish. From the begining of the film you get the impression that you are in for one hell of a ride. Our three main charecters are journalism students and as a project that have to research rumours and gossip. They all figure that the best way to research a rumour is to make a rumour. They deside to spred around that the most popular girl in the whole school hooked up with a boy in the toilets. This rumour starts spreading like wild fire and alligations of rape and murder start being flung around the campus. All the way through this film you think you know whats going to happen but then something happens that really suprises you so you really have no idea what will happen next. The acting in Gossip is very good and the direction is even better. all the backround is very stylish and the various club scenes are really funny and intresting to watch. But definatly the high light for me in Gossip is the well woven intresting shocking and just baffling end which could of been really really predictable but instead became revelationary because evry thing you though you knew becomes wrong. At the begging it looks like there were only going to be three main charecters but everybody even very minor people become pivital to the plot. Every single detail of the film is important so be careful not to miss anything.

This film is actually really intelagent, witty, thought provocking and shocking.

American high school tosh, this is really pointless and quite nasty and not in a good way, badly acted as well, what is this obsession with high school groupings and so making the person the focus of attention because they are not cool etc, America loves all this nonsense and this film is more of the same

This movie is good to watch once but not to watch over again. It's good how when gossip gets out it becomes altered as it spreads from person to person.

Dreadful, like any movie Joel Schumacher has anything to do with (barring the original 'Lost Boys'). Schumacher executive produced this and it tells. It's from exactly the same mould as 'Batman Forever'. Shallow characters, lame dialogue - a thriller for the offspring of the MTV generation. Don't bother unless your aged 15 or under.

Gossip tries to be a thriller, however it doesn’t quite make it, sort of entertaining enough about three exclusive college students (Norman Reedus, James Marsden, and Lena Headey) get their kicks by making up rumours about their classmates. Only, when one of these gossipy twittering gets out of hand, finding Beau (Joshua Jackson) arrested for the rape of his girlfriend Naomi (Kate Hudson) -- a crime he didn't commit! It’s not bad, but it does actually sound better than what it is, so it may leave you a little disappointed.

I read all the reviews before I wrote mine. Very interesting views from some people. I am an old fogey as somebody wrote and surprisingly enough I had seen all the stars before. Especially Kate Hudson, and Joshua Jackson who use to be in 'Dawson's Creek'. I am a real film addict so that is probably why I knew them.

I really enjoyed this film and it made you think how easy it is for people to spread rumours and destroy a person's life. A few wrong words in the wrong place and boom tragedy! I know it was just a film but it made you think, well it made me think.

I thought this was extremely well thought out and it kept me thinking to the end thinking I had solved the crime and I was wrong!! Clever ending you must watch it to the end though and not turn it off half way through as my husband did but watched it with me the next day and enjoyed it.

Surprisingly enough I can still remember what happened so it must have impressed me and I watched it at the beginning of last week.
