Clint Eastwood's son Scott has landed a leading role in dad's new baseball movie Trouble With The Curve. The younger Eastwood will play a minor league hopeful who attracts the eye of the Gran Turino star's scout character in Robert Lorenz's directorial debut, according to Variety. Johnny Depp has been named America's favourite actor for the second consecutive year. The Pirates of the Caribbean star beat out movie veteran Clint Eastwood and Denzel Washington to top the annual Harris Poll, which also ranks Tom Hanks at four and late icon John Wayne at five. Gran Torino, the new vengeance drama directed by and starring Clint Eastwood, has gone straight to the top of the US box office charts. Eastwood plays a Korean War veteran who takes the law into his own hands after clashing with a gang of street thugs.
