Almost a case for anorexia !

This theme, ingeniously explored by Marco Ferreri, where four friends, all gourmets and high livers gather for a weekend of debauchery,outrageous food, sordid sex and ultimately sucide by extreme gluttony is definately NOT to be watched as a precurser to dinner .

It has no deep meaning and there are no cinematic tricks or gizmos involved in this movie but it is so fascinating you will definately want to see it through to it's inevitable bloated conclusion. At least you won't want to nip out and buy another tube of Pringles !
