Norton takes pay cut for double role

Actor Ed Norton was so desperate to star in new movie Leaves Of Grass, he took a pay cut to play two roles. The star plays twins - a university professor and a drug dealer - in the film, which is directed by his The Incredible Hulk co-star Tim Blake Nelson. But he insists it didn't mean he gets double the salary. Norton - who earned £5.3 million for his role in Silence of the Lambs sequel Red Dragon - tells the New York Daily News, "I actually got paid half what I usually make." Read more
Dreyfuss and Sarandon set for thriller

Richard Dreyfuss and Susan Sarandon have agreed to appear in a new Tim Blake Nelson comedy-thriller. The pair will appear alongside Ed Norton in Leaves of Grass, it was announced at the Toronto Film Festival. Specific roles for Dreyfuss, whose credits include Poseidon and Unsung, and Sarandon, who has starred in movies such as Thelma and Louise, have not yet been announced.
