Uplifting

I knew little to nill about Jerry Garcia and David Grisman's projects before watching Grateful Dawg, yet afterwards I felt like I knew them both inside out and was imediatelly sold to the music. This documentary is cheerful, uplifting and at a pace that you'd generally expect from major motion pictures but not from muso documentaries.- Was this review helpful to you?

Jerry & David
By a customer from SOUTH EAST ENGLAND , 08 Jan 2005I generally liked this biography. Although the fact that it was directed by David Grisman's daughter there was a fair degree of bias to it.
The Grisman family liked to think that they were a 'bastion of tranquility' for Jerry.
