Green Lantern
In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers.
But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan, played by Ryan Reynolds.
Reynolds must master his new powers in order to ward off the threat from the intergalactic villain, Parallax.

Reynolds dreaming up Green Lantern sequel ideas

Ryan Reynolds is hoping his upcoming superhero blockbuster The Green Lantern is a hit at the box office as he has already researched potential plotlines for follow-up films. The actor stars as the title character in the DC Comics adaption, which is set for release next month (Jun11). Movie bosses have reportedly been in talks to continue the story in future releases - and Reynolds is already dreaming up storylines.
