Ryan Reynolds is hoping his upcoming superhero blockbuster The Green Lantern is a hit at the box office as he has already researched potential plotlines for follow-up films. The actor stars as the title character in the DC Comics adaption, which is set for release next month (Jun11). A Green Lantern sequel has been greenlit - and movie bosses have promised the follow-up will be "edgier and darker". Superhero movie Green Lantern has replicated its U.S. success on the other side of the Atlantic by shooting to the top of Britain's box office chart. A special effects expert who claims to have worked on the Green Lantern has filed suit against movie bosses alleging he was injured in an accident on the set of the superhero blockbuster.
