Begrudgingly entertaining

As a football fan I really didn't want to like this, but it's somehow quite gripping with very few slowing down points to catch your breath in.
I do feel uneasy about it though, as although there is a lot of blood, it does err towards making this sort of behaviour look almost worthy & not something to be ashamed of.
Although I know damn well football matches are pretty safe to attend these days, unlike the dark 1970's, it left me feeling uneasy about ever going to a football game again while watching it.
I sort of liked it because, despite some rather silly fight scenes & some awful acting (the 'cockney strut' - who coached that & who decided half the cast should talk like Joe Strummer!?) it entertained me & I wanted to find out what happened next, but I didn't like myself for liking it.
