Green Wing Special

In this special and final episode of Green Wing, the end is nigh--Caroline (Tamsin Greig) is now engaged to Guy (Stephen Mangan), while Mac (Julian Rhind-Tutt) has very little time to live. Gripped by desperation and paranoia, dwarf-killing duo Statham (Mark Heap) and Joanna (Pippa Heywood) are on the run, jumping relentlessly out of frying pans and into fires (not quite literally). With no-one left in charge, the admin girls let their basic instincts run wild, while something very strange has happened to Karen after her fall from the window. Boyce discovers life without Statham, Sue White spots a job opportunity and Martin feels utterly helpless. Again. At least it all ends happily ever after... or does it? As the mayhem and madness of Green Wing continues, how will it all end for the dysfunctional team of medics?

Shame it's over, but a great final chapter.

The final chapter of channel four's hilarious green wing ties up most of the loose ends left after series two including what happened with Guy/Mack/Caroline and the fate of Dr. Statham and Joanna. Meanwhile the HR department go tribal and rebel against any authority there still is. All in all agood end to an amazing series, however, the ending WILL disappoint because of its cliffhanger nature, be sure to watch the alternative ending as it leaves more questions answered while having a cliffhanger. Bring on a another series or one-off, Please!

    shame to see it end

great work in tying up lots of loose ends, and a feelgood ending to boot. only problem is its hard to see how they could do another series. would definitely like to see the character of Guy re-used.
