  • OK whingers, you did not miss much--just an average film.

Blimey, there is a lot of whingers on this site who use this review site for the wrong purpose. If you want to attack LF, then go to their complaints page or phone them. Or just leave and go somewhere else......please.

As for the film, it's OK but the whingers didn't miss much really----it's not of the standard you'd expect from Matt Damon : he'll have to start to be a bit more discerning about his choice of films if he wants to maintain that superstar status.

The mixture of war AND political intrigue at high levels makes a good combination. But the film is disjointed and never quite kept me interested throughout.

It's Matt Damon .....but it's still 3* for me.

  • Terrific film - well worth a watch

Excellent, gripping story brilliantly executed. Gives a real sense of what it must have been like in Iraq - not over the top, overblown action but reality as it happens. The question of 'what are we actually doing here' permeates the film, and the viewpoint of the locals is well communicated. More watchable than The Hurt Locker, which was quite slow paced although absorbing. This has an equally engrossing story to tell and the cast and direction are superb.

honesty i can not beleive they released this film and even the thought behind making a film based on the white house's iraqi war master-plan which was the WMD lie is unimaginable. it's just so unbelievable this was even allowed to come out as a film. as a conspiracy theorist, you will love this film, matt damon is a great actor and is blessed to play this part. the next thing for me would be to make a follow up based on the 9-11 inside job which was clearly orchestrated, played out and used by the US government as an excuse to go to war with afghanastan and continue to invade the middle-east in there quest for more oil, lithium and opium reserves..... which, like this film was all about the WMD lie used as an excuse and justification for an imaginary war, this would totally be about the faulse war on terror we're all lead to believe is still going on to this very day. it's about time hollywood told the world the US government is corrupt and tell lies just to win public perception for war justification and stage mass terror events like 9-11. i think it would only make sense to do a follow-up now based on the 9-11 US government inside job with matt damon re-starring his role as a military officer now based in afghanastan. unfortunately this will never happen as we found out WMD was a lie and there was no cover for it so with the 9-11 hoax still very much in the back of everyones mind, and the fake war on terror still going on in the middle-east to this very day, the majority of people still being dumbed-down into this fantasy, the truth may never come out to it's fullest potential therefore in reality a film would not be a possibilty, despite it being necessary, and even though people are wakening up more and more as the illuminati continue there world dominace for a one world government new world order run by the secret world banking system (which is what it is all about), a film based on the 9-11 hoax would almost certainly not be allowed that is for sure. for the majority of people to simply just take a step out of the 'stupid box' for a minute, open there eyes and see the bigger picture and the world for what it really is would be too much of a big ask. i mean if it is so possible for the US government to go to war with iraq based on a lie they created then why would it be so much of a hard task to assume they were the master-mind behind 9-11 just so they could further there agenda in the middle-east?? why is this so hard for the average person to figure out?? it is just a matter of excepting reality for what it really is, unfortunately the majority of people prefer to live in the fantasy because it makes them feel safer. it's like believing in an imaginary god, an imaginary sky-daddy floating in the clouds, same thing, worship the government because they are our heroes, they are our saviours, how more wrong could they possibly be when in reality they just want to be your leaders who can manipulate your very thoughts through lies and deception which includes murdering innocent men, women and children in the process. anyway for hollywood to even make this film, thank you so very much, i can only pray the truth comes about about 9-11, the bin-laden and al-queade fantasy that was all part of the US governments plans to continue there dominance over in the middle-east..... the illuminati's plans for a one world government, a new word order we are seeing taking place more and more to this very day....... as sad as it is, it is the truth and THE ONLY TRUTH IN THIS WORLD TODAY.

  • More shakey camera nonsense

    Rated - 0.5 stars

Gave up about 5 minutes in. All that jerky camera realism nonsense made it unwatcable. If things looked like that in real life when you're moving you'd get medical attention. If it's supposed to look like news under fire I can watch that all day for free - A movie is not news under fire and anything more than a few seconds of same in a movie is crass stupidity.

  • Wasn't bad

This film was not great but it wasn't bad either. It was a very interesting storyline but has a horror ending!

The special effects however were tremendous, some of the sweeping shots were brilliant and some odd camera angles seemed to work.

A good little action film, just disappointing ending.

  • Slow moving, boring and predictable

Matt Damon kicks butt again; but that's about the extent of the entertainment. The story is told slowly, its boring and predictable, but a well made film.
