The director behind The Scorpion King and The Mask is now turning his attentions to a remake of the horror-comedy Piranha. Chuck Russell, who also directed The Blob, Eraser and A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, will bring the 1978 film up to date. Is The Golden Compass a Christmas movie? Novelist Philip Pullman would probably be appalled at the idea.
