Dwane "The Rock" Johnson stars in this gritty and inspirational movie based on a true story about a group of teenage delinquents given a second chance to redeem themselves by playing football. Sean Porter (Johnson) is a frustrated juvenile probation officer. Most of the kids in his detention camp are either sent back to prison once they leave or meet a violent end when they return to the streets. Desperately looking for a way to make a difference, he and his co-worker Malcolm Moore (Xzibit) devise a plan to teach discipline and resposibility through the game of football. But with only four weeks before the start of the season, Porter must overcome insurmountable odds to put together a competitive team. It's a season that will test their minds, spirit, and bodies as Porter teaches his players the principles of good character, strength through resiliency, and genuine respect for one another.

If you like the genre of the underdogs who make good then this is the film for you. OK, the acting isn't great and the storyline is simple and obvious, but if you can forget that then what you get is an enjoyable, simple film
First off A Customer from Woking, Surrey , The Rock never hardly ever uses guns in his films as he prefers hands on action and stunts, just to clear that up first!
I thought this was a wicked wicked film, was a bit dubious as I had passed it by a few times but decided to give it a go.
The whole film is gripping and in spaces rather emotional as young people see theyre different takes on the light at the end of the tunnel!
Brilliant film and will reccommend.
