Grounded... perhaps this should have been...By PaulaWestwood (397 reviews) from Ashton-Under-Lyne , 17 Dec 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]If you are eight, you might find something in this. If you are older it will not have a great deal in it for you. Unlike some family movies like Cars or Happy Feet or etc there is humour for old and young alike, and a message in there somewhere - this is nothing like that, it has pretty juvenile humour and no message at all. It isn't the worst thing ever but it has just about every cheap hackneyed laugh lines, boy girl interest, anti grown up plots etc since film began. All in all no new ground, very short film and nothing to write home about. These guys may
not have caught a flight, but you should not worry if you don't catch this film.

Not really ground breaking cinema!!By filmlover21 (5 reviews) from Bromsgrove , 02 May 2008This is a movie that really isnt worth watching, the story is missing big holes and certanly doesnt make sence.
The young actors try there best, but they fail big time !!
The kids mite like this and get some good ideas, but its home alone in an airport, with bad acting!
It has some funny bits but not enough to make it a good film.
Wish the studios would employ more good writers, that way theses movies might have a half decent story behinf them.
GroundedBy Lythy (2 reviews) from Newcastle , 20 Apr 2008Good, not a bad film for a sunday afternoon
FunnyBy Jan180 (118 reviews) from Crawley , 19 Mar 2008Watched this with the kids and then loved the riotous kids!!. hope they don't try anything at Gatwick!!!.
Well made and kids act it well. Good family watch.
Very disappointingBy a customer from Scotland , 23 Feb 2008Sounded like it was going to be a really good movie. Good story idea and really like the kid that plays Chris in everybody hates Chris so thought it would be a winner. However Chris was the best thing in it. Very disappointing, could have been good but wasnt.
Average at best. 4/10.By Graham from UK , 25 Jan 2008I added this movie for a little light hearted relief from all the violent horrors and high concentration thinking films we have recently rented, in the end only my wife watched this offering and was certainly not that impressed. Despite passing the time well enough and a few minor chuckles she felt the film lacked any real depth or imagination. There is nothing wrong with a simple story but it needs to have something to remember it by, some content and credibility, it appears this did not. The child actors did fairly well however the adult actors were weak, not funny and less mature than the kids which my wife found by the end quite annoying. A silly movie with very few moments to remember. Average at best. 4/10.
