Gripping...comes as close to a thriller as documentaries get
I was expecting a bit more action and actual "Guerilla" onscreen awesomeness. But I didn't get it - obviously with this being a documentary with real-life footage rather than actors.
And I liked it! It was a good interesting story, not dissimiliar to the likes of Michael Moore. It was well told and gripping enough to make you want to know what happens next.
Not having been alive at the time, I was pretty much fascinated seeing this - a story I wasn't at all familiar with. Anyway watch it!!
this film is a gripping documentary, immaculately researched with constantly arising parallels to the reporting of terrorism today.these comparitively little known events had lain almost buried for 3 decades until brought into prominence by a mass clamouring for reporting of terrorism after 9/11.
the director has gathered a wealth of information about the subject & has amazing interviews with most of the key players.the fact that the court cases of some of these people were ongoing during the making of the film simply adds to the tension.as i said, gripping!top draw.
