This new take on the 1967 drama Guess Who's Coming To Dinner puts a comedic spin on interracial dating.

Every thing gets turned around
By a customer from England , 22 Apr 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
This takes all the other films ive seen about racial content, where one family doesnt aproove of their kids partner and switchs it round to the other side, if you know what i mean with out going into major detail, it was kind of a meet the parents type film but with different backgrounds to the main characters.
Still it was funny all the way through, great for a laugh but there is better out there.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good, well paced comedy
By RussnEmma (387 reviews) from London, England , 10 Sep 2011Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher are perfectly cast here as the protective black father and the cautious white son-in-law to be.
Another 'meet the parents' movie but well executed and funny seeing a white person trying to be accepted by a black family as opposed to many films which show the reverse.
Typical Kutcher role which he plays so well, you will not have to try to sit back and enjoy this film.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not a patch on the original
By rosief (22 reviews) , 04 Sep 2011An OK film which was really neither a comedy or a drama. It was watchable but not recommendable. Compared to the original 'Guess who's coming to dinner' with Spencer Tracey, Katherine Hepburn and Sidney Poitier, it wasn't a very good take on the original theme of mixed marriages. The original was superb so this was a rather disapointing 'follow up'.- Was this review helpful to you?

Unfunny, casual racism abound.
