Not one to watch with the wife!
By jesuskenevil (245 reviews) from Bruton , 02 Aug 2012Superbly twisted tale of sex, deceit and guilt. Wonderfully bizarre story line, really solid performances, sordid camera work and a slow relentless drive towards the conclusion revealed early on. FUN!- Was this review helpful to you?

Different and erotic mystery worth a watch
By StormOrphan (113 reviews) from SUTTON , 23 May 2012This is a good and unusual psychological thriller of lives unravelling into eroticism and violence. The story jumps around a bit and takes a while to take shape but then becomes an interesting mystery set within an increasingly strange and seedy world.- Was this review helpful to you?

Twisted Japanese murder tale
By Whipster (663 reviews) from Shropshire , 22 May 2012Much better than 'Love Exposure' imo. A more interesting storyline but even though nicely twisted it still feels overlong - and this is the truncated version! Megumi Kagurazaka is absolutely edible and well cast as the submissive housewife who is led astray by her desires and those willing to exploit them. Lots of unlikable characters as you'd expect but a mother who beats them all hands down! Quirky and maybe odd in places - not realistic in Western terms - the homicide plotline becomes a sort of distraction to the main narrative. Definitely flawed but enjoyable if you enjoy Japanese storytelling. Japanese. Subtitled. 3. 5 stars.- Was this review helpful to you?
