It was 40 years ago that I first recorded for Stefan Grossman's Kicking Mule record label! Much has changed over the years and much has pretty much stayed the same. I still love the music that caught my attention back in the old days and I still play it. Many of my old pals are gone but they are still a part of my life and they come alive every time I take the stage to tell my story. After 40 years 'in the game', I consider myself to be a very lucky man. When your heroes end up becoming your pals, life is sweet. You can’t really ask for more than that...
