Fuelled by the rise of the Japanese car industry this is a simple story of American workers being prepared to do anything to keep up (except work harder or longer hours). Michael Keaton is the fast talking dude who sorts it all out. Picture scenes of Tai Chi, bowing at non-English peaking executives, gangs of Japanese businessmen being led around factories (taking pictures), sushi in the staff canteen. You get the drift. Same old same old. I think the cars being made are actually Fiats.
