An engrossing and award winning drama following the dramatic events in the lives of one working class family when one of them befriends a refugee girl. Three very different but equally fascinating views of the same sequence of events are revealed as we see the impact of the friendship between hard working young Czech refugee Tasha and the down trodden but ever optimistic Helen. The triptych takes us through events through the eyes of Tasha, Helen and Helen's husband Paul. Compellingly realistic and critically acclaimed with riveting performances, Gypo deals with contemporary themes in an original and striking way. Essential viewing.

Three interwoven stories, a la Robert Altman's short cuts - and filmed in a 'breaking the waves' style ..
Great acting performances all round, and Chloe Sirene (Tasha) is absolutely gorgeous!
the three perspectives made this film compelling to watch right to the end. no-one character tells the whole story yet all add essential elements.
The dogme approach makes this film incredibly real and natural. Thank you to everyone involved.
