  Nice Cinematography, Pointless Film

  I was surprised by how well the film is shot. Lots of muted colours and the guest house has a dreary nightmarish quality about it. It's all surprisingly stylish for such a low budget movie.
  
  But the storyline is fairly pointless and shallow. There are no sympathetic characters really and it's not even particularly gory or shocking. Any film that can make torture seem quite dull isn't really doing its job properly, is it?

  sick sick sick

  tried to watch this but we just had to stop. maybe i'm getting too old for relentless rape & murder. it was too matter-of-fact. uncomfortable viewing. stick with italian giallo high-camp horror or deserving hollywood teens slapped & stabbed.
