This looks a lot like Beauty Shop the movie starring Queen Latifah, but in all fairness the story is a little different and it's about as good. Mo'nique is a wonderful leading lady, very sassy and extremely funny. She really should be in better movies than this one. Not saying it was bad, I have rated it 4 Stars, but I am reviewing it within it's genre - as a low budget black comedy. It's a nice Saturday evening movie, a real light hearted no brainer and the soundtrack is great - not too hip-hop. A definite chick flick - so macho action buffs avoid....

One of the funniest movies I have seen in ages... so much humour and a whole realm of on-going storylines to keep you interested in the plot. Watch this and improve your health ... laughter is good medicine!
